As an elementary math & science coordinator, I am most concerned with our
teachers being able to assess a greater depth of their students'
understanding than is possible through more standard forms of assessment.
We are using student "Math Journals," observational assessment, and test
items which involve more of a short essay-type response. These are
helpful, but much more time consuming for the teacher. Anyone out there
try anything real efficient yet meaningful?
