Subject: Student requirements for taking the math regents

Quick question,

I was curious to see what other math departments/school districts are
doing regarding students taking a math regents.  Are there
requirements that they have to meet before taking the exam, seat time,
attendance, etc.  Do you let them sit and take it if they have
previously failed it without them being in a prep class or not having
taken any math since the last time they took it.  Your input would be
greatly appreciated.
