I agree. A typical example is sound-engineering and sound-recording courses, which are common, and it's a popular subject, with very very little chance of employment, since technological developments enable most people to create music at home rather than spending money to go into a recording studio as they used to 20 years ago.
Educating students to realise this kind of mismatch would be very useful, I feel!
