Subject: serial communication problem

hi everyone,
 
        i am creating serial communication in matlab.for communicating with micro controller 
if i want to read some data from micro controller in matlab says warning error like

Warning: The specified amount of data was not returned within the Timeout
period.

what is that mean i increased timeout in matlab 0.05 to 0.1 but still its giving same waring 
but its reading tha data 
how to avoid this warning 

plz help me...
