Not counting the lead story on the Connecticut shooting, these are among the top headlines on Yahoo News this morning:

http://news.yahoo.com/2-kansas-officers-fatally-shot-outside-market-041815462.html

Perhaps if those Kansas police officers had been armed and trained, they wouldn't have been killed. . .

H. Rap Brown said, "Violence is as American as apple pie." Funny, but nowhere else in the industrialized world would someone say something similar about their country. And remember, people were OUTRAGED when Brown said that, as they were when Malcolm X said after the JFK assassination that it was merely a case of ( America's) chickens coming home to roost.

How many mass shootings in this country were perpetrated by people of color? How many by women? How many by white males?

How many guns will you need to keep yourself safe from the crazy white male who comes for you at work, at the mall, at the movies, etc.?
