this is a sine wave riding a sine wave and the resultant equation.  Can 
anyone tell me why f(x)=sin(sin(2x)) creates a symmetrical sine wave, but 
f(x)=sin(2pi(sin(2x))) doesn't?

When you figure it out, let me know.
