Subject: Can't fathom this straight line question
I am having trouble understanding the following. In the image below there are 8 marked angles and the question is to find the sum of those. I understand that they are all supplementary angles to the interior angles of an irregular polygon but still stumped...
I can only come to the conclusion that the sum is greater the sum of a polygons exterior angle (360 degrees). However how to take the 1440 degrees of all the straight line segments and work out the supplementary parts is beyond me.
