Here I have a angoing problem it relates to simple fractions 5th grade stuff;
8/9, 9/8
In synergetics they have these fractions as a part of a conversion from IVM to x,y,z

Mr. Kirby is a product Princeton

in synergetics they have a cube = 72 modules
8/72 =.1111...

This been going on for years, the whole of synergetics is
resting on this little fraction, and no one, is capable
to this date decipher what it means, just fascinating, now you said you are a engineer, fyou should be able to please tell us what is this fraction all about.
