One can find Stanford lectures on YouTube. One can find ted talks on YouTube. Perhaps you are the reason you cant find a valid source of information online.
Perhaps you are right however. For the most part mathematicians agree that division by zero is undefined. Curiously enough qm and string theory use division by zero.
the very word "undefined" leads to contention.
Here is an axiom for you.....you can apply it to fields and to rings......you will see by the nature of it, why it does so....even if it is false.
"For every Number in any set there exists a z1 and a z2 constituting A. Such that any A in binary operation of multiplication or division is only representing z1 and z2. So than z1 and z2 for any A other than zero equal A. Such that z1 for zero equals zero. Such that z2 for zero equals 1.
