Thank you Haim.

The West needs to discard the last 500 years of elementary (discrete) mathematics andragogies and pedagogies.

I have moved on from posting about this to writing and speaking about this. In fact, five years ago I quit the 'rat race' and sold my house so I could focus my efforts on changing elementary math pedagogies.

Recent writings include:

== Crabtree, J. (2016, Dec). The Lost Logic of Elementary Mathematics and the Haberdasher Who Kidnapped Kaizen, 98-106. Paper presented at the Mathematical Association of Victoria Annual Conference 53, Melbourne, Australia. Retrieved from:

== Crabtree, J. (April 01, 2016). A New Model of Multiplication via Euclid. Vinculum, 53, 2, 16.

Upcoming writings include:

== How and Why Mathematics Teachers Should Explain Multiplication and Division like René Descartes and Isaac Newton [Australian Conference]

== New Ways of Teaching Children the Laws of Sign for Multiplication and Division (and more!) [Hungarian Conference]
