I find the statement "as effective as lecture or some other method"
not necessarily relevant.
I am inclined to think that differnt teaching methods are more effective
in different subjects. I urge the curriculum researcher to help teachers
understand when to best use different teaching methods, instead of throwing
them differnt names of teaching methods and expect them to create their own
programs in dark.
