Summer Math Institutes

Summer Math Institutes will be offered by Molloy College on Long Island
at either our Rockville Centre campus or at our Suffolk Center at
Republic Airport in E. Farmingdale. The Institutes are designed to
improve teacher*s professional content knowledge and to refresh and to
renew their competency in the use and classroom application of
state-of-the-art technology in mathematics. The week-long Institutes may
either be taken as 3 credit graduate courses or on a non-credit basis
for 2 in-service credits. Registration will be on a first-come,
first-served basis. We do expect to close out, so register as soon as
possible.

The following Institutes will be offered:
* Differentiated Instruction in Teaching Mathematics: Grades K - 6 &
Grades 7 - 12
* Problem-Solving Across the Grade Levels: Grades 7 - 12
* Reading and Writing in Mathematics: Grades K - 6 & Grades 7 - 12
* Selected Topics in Mathematics Problem Solving: Grades K - 3 &
Grades 4 - 6
* Integrated Algebra and Technology
* Technology in Secondary Mathematics: 7 - 12
* Geometry
* Advanced Placement: Calculus AB
* Advanced Placement: Calculus BC
* Advanced Placement: Statistics

descriptions, the schedule of classes, tuition rates, an application for
admission, a registration form and further information regarding the
Institutes.
