I have been trained and have used AFT's ER&D Thinking Math Programs with my own classroom and in my Chapter One Classes and I found it to be powerful and effective, I had wonderful results with student participation and understanding. I taught in a very underprivileged inner city area in grades
K-6. MY math scores soared when I was using it. I couldn't begin to tell you how I used it. It would take volumes. I would urge you to see if your district offers training, if not check the AFT site.
