Here is another post from Meyer that I just saw.

I think it raises some interesting questions for high school teachers who read Math-Teach:

a. would showing your students 'Act 1' act as a 'hook' for your students, causing them to be interested in the solution?
b. which students would you see as an ideal level to deal with the math and necessary thinking?
