Gun Control

One of the beautiful things about the gun control issue is that the arguments on both sides of the issue haven't changed in over 200 years... The irony of gun control from my perspective is that the people who have the greatest fear of guns control the police as if they were little puppets... while with me, the police think they're entitled to insult my intelligence with impunity... (So obviously the first strike against gun control is that personal ownership of nuclear weapons is a right that every American is entitled to have... (If you don't believe me then ask Benjamin Franklin.)) The Brady Law actually strengthens the NRA... Why? Psychiatry doesn't like being shoved deeper into the political realm and the consequence are that psychiatry is apt to err on the side of caution but does the hoity- toity crowd give a rat's ass if psychiatry isolates normal people who are entitled to participate in society?
