The First Announcement (Revised)

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Korean
Society of Mathematical Education (KSME), KSME
will host the 2012 Fall Conference on Mathematics
Education (i.e. the 49th Korean National Meeting
of Mathematics Education).

When: November 2-3, 2012 (Fri.-Sat.)

Venue: Korea Nat'l Univ. of Educ, Cheongju, Chungbuk 363-791, Korea

Call for Papers:

Papers written in English, which are accepted for
presentation at the, will be published in the
Proceedings of the Conference.

Submission of Papers:

The deadline of applying for a paper presentation
at the International Sessions of Oral Delivery or
the Poster Session is October 18, 2012.

Please send us the title of the article, the
names of authors with affiliations, the abstract
not exceeding 100 words, key words, MESC
and AMS 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification
These are usually consist of the first page of
the article. The limit of manuscript is 8 pages.

The limit of a poster is A0 size (w 840mm h 1188mm).

Cheongju Int'l Airport
is the nearest airport to the conference venue.
There are direct flights from many cities of
China and other countries. From Cheongju Int'l
Airport, you may use taxies or domestic busses.

Airports in Seoul

Seoul has two international airports:

Incheon Int'l Airport
is the major airport in Korea and there are
direct flights from most cities of the world.

Gimpo Int'l Airport: is the
nearest airport to the center of Seoul. There are
direct flights from many cities of East Asia.

From Airports in Seoul, the most convenient
transportation to the conference venue is using
AREX+KTX trains. You can buy the AREX+KTX train
ticket to Osong KTX Station at Airport Train

Gimhae Int'l Airport in Busan

Gimhae Int'l Airport
has direct flights from many cities of the East
From Gimhae Int'l Airport, in Seoul, go to Busan
KTX Station and buy the KTX train ticket to Osong
KTX Station.


Cheongju has many hotels and motels. The room
rate varies from 88,000Won (US$80) to more than
209,000Won (US$190) per night (Exchange rate: US$
1 = 1,100 Won). Korea Nat'l Univ. of Education
has nice Guest House we are going to arrange the
accommodations with nominal charge.
