A Question of Content Architecture

I have a problem about "content architecture" at the border of
arithmetic and algebra. Since mathematics is difficult to read in an
email, I have attached the pdf of a LaTeX version I just wrote but,
since I am not sure pdf can be attached, here is the url of said pdf.
