I was wondering if any of your schools (particularly middle schools) had mathematics electives? Especially mathematics research electives - classes where students would have enrichment in mathematical topic not taught by the standards (i.e. the golden ratio, fibonacci sequence, Pascal's triangle, etc.). If so, could you tell me a little bit about these programs in your school? How are they run? What is a typical class like?

Thank you
