Are not even TRYING these yourself? The first day he read 60 pages. That was "20% more" than he read on the second day. If we call the number of pages he read the second day "P", we have P+ .20P= 1.2P= 60. Divide both sides by 1.2 to find the number of pages he read the second day. I assume the "number of pages in the book that he had read" is the total pages the first and second day.
