1st day pages read by Javed = 60
This was 20% more than second day it means that in 2nd day he read 20% less than first day. And 20% of 60 = 12
So second day he read 60-12= 48 pages
Total pages he read in 1st and 2nd day = 48+60=108

And he read 1/6 of pages on second day. that is
If we consider that total number of pages of books are x
than
the pages he read on second day = x*1/6 = x/6
from above
x/6=48
x=288
So total numbers of pages of that book are 288, in which he read 60 on first day and 48 in second day.
