Northern Illinois University

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Northern Illinois
University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track
position in mathematics education at the Assistant Professor level to
begin in
August 2005. The successful candidate must have research interests in
the teaching and learning of mathematics at the lower division
undergraduate level, must have a background in mathematics at the
master's level, and must hold the doctorate at the time of
appointment. Demonstrated potential for excellence in research and
teaching are required. Please send letter of application, curriculum
vitae, transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and a
description of research program and teaching experiences to:
