Plotting colors?

Hello,

is there any way to specify different colors for the grid, and the plot
lines, using any of plot, semilogx, semilogy, plotyy, etc.?

I would like the grid to be light gray and not dotted, and I would like to
use more different colors than the basic red, green, magenta, etc. that
LineStyle offers.

Thanks!
