Somebody asked for a series that sums to an algebraic
irrational a time ago. With easy rational summands, of course.

And here is the easy answer: Compute the MacLaurin
series of sqrt(1+x). Terms are like 1*3*5*7/2*4*6*8
or the like. I hope x=1 is within the convergence
radius (and if not,x=1/2 surely is!)
Thus you get a nice series for sqrt(2).
