Elena A. Marchisotto and I are nearing completion of our book on Mario Pieri. I'm pursuing some troubling but minor illustration and biography questions. Has anyone any information on them?
1. There are some nice drawings of Louis Couturat posted on the web. (Googling reveals them.) A source tells me they are by Ric Berger. Does anyone know where they first appeared, so that I might ask permission to use one of them?
2. There is a seemingly good biography of Couturat posted on the web on the Ido version of Wikipedia. It's by Louis de Beaufront, and appears to have been written around 1915. But no hardcopy source is given. Has anyone any idea where it appeared in print?
