[HM] My incopmpetence!!!

A few days ago I was searching the web for material relating to the generalisation of the Jordan Curve Theorem to three and higher dimensions.
I came across a web page which implied that Henri Lebesgue had specifically generalised the theorem to ***three*** dimensions shortly before Brouwer generalised it completely.
Unfortunately, but sadly predictably, I did not book mark the web page in question and despite serious effort i have not been able to revisit it.
So, can any list member please
1) corroborate/repudiate the assertion about Lebesgue
2) direct me back to 'the lost page'
Again I apologise for my incompetence.
Any and all help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
