Dear Friends,

in the third Edition of his "Meditationes algebraicae" Waring mentions that
he had sent a copy of the second edition (1770) of this work to several
people one of them being a man with name Frisius. Is this the Italian Paolo
Frisi (1728-1783)? He was fellow of the Royal Society.

If it is not Paolo Frisi, who else could it be?

Best regards
Heinz Lueneburg
