Jim,
Since you gave no personal e.mail address, I'm posting this on Numeracy hoping that you'll see it. All others need not read on.
I, like Martha teach at a community college. What you call lesson plans I call my class outline. I prepare one for every class and "rehearse" it. I provide every student with a copy of it.
If you can identify my survey, you'll see that I didn't answer all the questions, primarily because they simply didn't apply or they didn't ask the nuance of the question to which I could reply. To be somewhat blunt about it, the survey isn't capturing much information that I believe is critical to time management. Further, I don't believe 10 questions - unless this is a subset of an overall survey - will help you identify critical variables of time management, utility of lesson plans or value thereof.
In any event, I hope my contribution, above and in the survey, is helpful ... keep at it ... mark schwartz
