Dear all,

within the next few weeks, the Universitaetsverlag
Goettingen will publish the correspondence between
Emmy Noether and Helmut Hasse, with comments by
P. Roquette and myself (Warning: except for the
introduction, everything is in German). You can see
the cover and download the content (for free) on

http://univerlag.uni-goettingen.de/hasse-noether/

I hope that advertising the book on this list is ok since
we do not get any royalties, and since any money
the publisher should make from the print-on-demand
version is supposed to be used for maintaining the
web site and supporting similar publications etc.

Roquette and I will continue working on the
correspondence of Hasse with Artin, Brauer, Scholz,
and others; if sufficiently many libraries would order
the book, it would help us getting similar projects
published in the future . . .

Comments concerning this project are more than
welcome.

thanks,

franz
