I just finished surveying the 22 component districts in our BOCES
regarding math professional development and program needs, and AIS
concerns was common to all of them. I think a lot of us would love to
benefit from the wisdom and advice to be offered on successful AIS
policies and practices. Can this conversation either be kept public on
the listserv, or would you (Joan) be willing to provide updates to the
listserv that encapsulate what information you receive and share it?

Our school is considering changing the way we offer AIS services in
mathematics. We are looking for information how other schools across
the state are
providing that service. Are you doing it with certified teachers in
labs,
with extra time in class, etc? Will you please email at
_tfkjlk@aol.com_
(mailto:tfkjlk@aol.com) . and tell me what your high school is doing.
