Has anyone on this list used Derive, Theorist (now called MathView),
Maple and Mathematica enough to make a recommendation as to which is
most suitable for AP-Calculus?

In return for an informed opinion, I offer an article I recently wrote
that contains what I think is a fairly comprehensive list of free
quality mathematics software available from the Internet. To view the
list, go to the QAMT site at:
http://cq-pan.cqu.edu.au/schools/smad/qamt.html
and follow the link to the article entitled, 'Computers, Chalk and
OHPs'.

If you know of any software that is not on my list, and is free and of
good quality, please let me know.

Cheers

Rex
