I teach high school calculus and next year I am going to purchase either
new graphing calculators or a computer software program such as
Mathematica or Derive, etc. I currently us TI-82s and infrequently use
Mathematica. Next year I will have regular access to a computer lab.
Do I go for the calculators (what kind do you recommend) or the computer
software (what kind?)? Any opinions out there. Thank you.
