Writing Math

The following web site was referenced a few days ago in a post. The material is by Kirby Urner. I recommend it to you for the mathematic of course, but also for the way it is written. Specifically I was impressed by the use of color as an integral part of the discussion and of the mathematics (not just to highlight important words). Here the computer easily surpasses the textbook.
The site is http://www.teleport.com/~pdx4d/quadrays.html
As an aside: the idea of using color to help in the understanding of the text was, I understand, suggested in the late1920s by William Faulkner for the first section of his novel "The Sound and the Fury." But it was not technically possible to print books that way then. But that's another story (pun intended).
