I just finished a book for the TI-86, which is an upgraded 85. Check out a
couple of chapters and programs at
http://www.ti.com/calc/docs/86prog.htm , even though there WILL be SOME
stuff in the book you CAN'T do on an 85. I would guess that 90% of the
content would apply to the 85.

There probably are some very good books for the 85, but I can't speak for or
against any (never seen them), although if you see Sally Fischbeck's name on
one, it's pretty much going to be a safe bet.
