Here's an off-the-wall question for you folk. Do we still need to
introduce the old sum to product trig identities (sin x + sin y = 2 sin
((x+y)/2)cos((x-y)/2) etc ) to our Precalc students? I notice for example
this isn't in the Demana-Waits Precalc but is in the Prentice Hall Ryan et
al Advanced Math.
