TI-89 vs TI-92

There was a demo of the TI89 at the NCTM conference. It is the size and style of the 83. It does NOT have a QWERTY keyboard. My understanding is the QWERTY reduces test security - it has always been an issue of what the student takes OUT of the exam, not what he brings in. My only complaint about the 89 is that it does not have the 83 stat package. I have students who double up (AP calc and AP stats) and there is no ONE machine that works for them. I'm sure I'll be able to download the stat package, as is necessary for the 86, but I don't understand why it isn't a built-in.
