The test covers calculus and that is what I teach. The only way to not
teach to the test would be to teach my students french or something
else. There is no way to predict what is on each year's test or so no
way to narrow your focus to just that material. I think people are
excited about this year's test because the questions are so well written
and really test the students' knowledge of the concepts that are the
heart of calculus.
