Geometry article illustrating discovery function of proof

My homepage has been updated with the following article of mine "A hexagon result & its generalization via proof", The Montana Mathematics Enthusiast, June 2007, Vol. 4, No. 2, which can be downloaded at my homepage at http://mysite.mweb.co.za/residents/profmd/homepage4.html
The article contains a link to a zipped Sketchpad sketch and gives an illustration of the 'discovery' function of proof leading to a generalization, which would be accessible to talented high school students as well as undergraduate students. Also click on the blue link called 'hexagon centroids' to view a short online animation video clip illustrating the generalization for the hexagon case.
My homepage also contains the usual bi-monthly mathematical/mathematics education quote and cartoon at the bottom.
