If you haven't registered yet, you'll be sorry!!!
We've got party plans galore and it starts with.......
MATH ROCKS!!!
An evening of 80s music and dancing by the band "Back in Time". (The lead female vocalist is a math teacher!) Everyone is invited to the Texas Instruments sponsored Regional Event. Thursday evening, October 25th in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Hotel. 8:30 - 11 pm. Come on in and join the party. Stop and chat with the T3 instructors and 2007 TI grant winners from your region for a chance to win one of over 200 Math Rocks tshirts and other prizes! See old friends and make some new ones. Coffee, tea and dessert provided. Cash bar available.
TI Graffiti
We've got it covered... Bring a jump drive with you favorite picture and we will put it on a calculator skin for you. (A sticker that goes on your calculator cover). Rumor has it that a math teacher in NY has a different picture of himself on every calculator in his class set. It just helps the kids remember who the calculators belong to. We can't do your class set, but we can show you how. We also have some great designs you can use if you are creatively challenged. The new Numb3rs skins will also be available at the booth.
Middle School Math Teachers
Come to the booth and attend a short informational session on the new TI-34 MultiView. It will be coming your way in 2008. Sign-up to get a special gift just for attending the informational session in the booth.
Operating System Updates
Have you updated? 1.19 for the 83+ 2.41 for the 84+ And yes we just released a new OS for Nspire too!! If you need help, please stop by the booth, we can show you how to update. It is easier than ever
Press To Test
Close your eyes and imagine telling your students to put their calculators into testing mode. Now open your eyes, glance around the room and you know the units are in testing mode without taking a step. Just one of the latest features of TI-Nspire. Stop by the booth to see the press to test features of the TI-84+ units and the TI-Nspire handhelds.
More Prizes
Can't make it Thursday night, attend special sessions and get a raffle ticket to win prizes throughout the conference. Stop by the booth for a complete listing.
