What does:

x = min {eps/2,1/2}

mean, where eps is the abbreviation for epsilon. Does it mean the smallest number of the two listed, or is it a interval of numbers? I would have thought that if it was an interval, it would have been surrounded by "( )".

Thanks,

Mike
