Dear all,

Does anyone know what criteria fmincon uses to determine
whether a start point is feasible or not. I always thought
it was just whether or not the start point satisfied the

I am having the problem where the start point I give should
be within the constraint tolerance, and is, but I still get
a message that the start point is infeasible. I have the
tolerance on the constraints fairly lax at only 0.01.

Is their something I am missing here?
