As many of you know, I played with/worked with/presented Fractals, Chaos, and Dynamical Systems back in the late 80's and early 90's. Current, and very beautiful mathematics used to be topics we'd discuss with our students, and get excited about at our conferences. This may still be true in a few pockets around the state, but as a rule, I don't think we engage our students often enough with awe inspiring images developed by iterative systems.
Nonetheless, this type of study continues unabated world-wide. I came across the link below and thought, what heck, maybe some of you would enjoy 3 minutes of diversion. And if YOU are inspired by what you see or hear on the website, explore further and share with your students. Algebra, and the visual geometry it creates can be (should be?) a small part of what we teach. Just my 2 cents for today.
