Hi all~
We're just beginning proofs using AMSCO's Geometry book. They present proving segments/angles equal and also proving segments/angles congruent. Does anyone have a good 'feeling' about which the state will choose? Reviewing previous material and drawing on my own HS experiences, it was mostly proving figures congruent. Whaddya think?

Also, another question arises: what is the need for using transitive and symmetric property when you can use the substitution property?
