Hi,
I've got an ellipse of the form:
z (x, y coordinate of the centre)
a and b (its axis)
alpha (rotation angle)

All I can find is the parameterised form of an ellipse with t (the parameter) being -Pi <= t <= Pi which gives me the ellipse coordinates. I need y values on the ellipse for certain x values, i.e. y as a function of x and the above definition of my ellipse. Can somebody help me out here?

thanks loads in advance
