5.22 Lesson Study Open House

Hello,
I am sending the following announcement as an fyi. I learned from Catherine Lewis (whose papers can be accessed at http://lessonresearch.net) that conferences in Japan focus on the observation of actual classroom lessons, which makes a lot of sense to me. For the last few years, I've wondered how we can do something similar to their conference in this country. The convergence of many individuals and organizations sharing the same goal of improving mathematics learning opportunities for both students and teachers makes it possible for me to share the following announcement. The leaders of this effort are the principal and teachers of Paterson School Number 2.
