Figure with No Borders

I want an image with no borders around it. The situation is: There is
a surface in the axes which not fill the entire axes, i.e., if I get
'gca' component I will have the surface in the axes with a blank
border.

I wonder if I can only get the surface and save it in jpg (or other)
format.
