In a posting to this list by Chris Olsen, he answered several
questions I had posed about the new A.P.Stats course.

Chris: Thank you much! (I am indeed the same individual who
participated in the Woodrow Wilson summer workshop at George
Mason in 1986. It's nice to heear from you again!)

You mentioned someone at Carnegie-Mellon who has made available
some datasets on the Internet. I you could provide just a bit
more information on that source, I for one would be grateful.
I'm sure others would be appreciative, too.

In my previous post, I negtlected to mention a particularly
nice resource, and one that will appeal to others who have a
computer and a modem. The JOURNAL OF STATISTICAL EDUCATION is
available electronically, courtesy of the good folks at North
Carolina State University. For information about subscribing
or just being able to download specific articles from specific
issues, send an email message to Tim Arnold at this address:

Tim's in the Dept. of Statistics at NC State Univ.
