We are preparing to offer AP Statistics next year and have decided upon
Moore's _Introduction to the Practice of Statistics_. We had also decided to
install Minitab on the Macintoshs in our computer lab in the high school.
Upon contacting the folks at Minitab, we learned that this would be very
expensive (and an annual fee to boot!), especially since we anticipate a
small student enrollment for the first few years. An earlier posting noted
that a student version of Minitab may be available at a cost of $50 or so.
First, this is not indicated in the material we received from the company.
Secondly, if anyone is using this option, please respond with the relative
value/usefulness of this version v. the full version. I would also like to
know how one goes about acquiring copies of this for the school since the
company does not include it in its product listing.

Thanks for any help you can supply.
