Harvard admissions on statistics

Someone recently (in the last few days) refered to a statement by a
Harvard admissions officer to the effect that statistics is more
important than calculus.

I'd like to know more about that, and didn't save the message so I can't
reply to that person directly.

Please re-identify yourself so we can communicate about it.
