In an email a few days ago I mentioned the wonderful and important TI
programs which Barr Von Oehsen has written to parallel Allan Rossman's
Minitab Macros. I mentioned that understandable some of them where
relatively slow. Barr just emailed saying:

"The simulation programs do take quite awhile to run, but they are
designed to be started during the preliminaries section of a topic. For
example, I have my students start the SIMSAMP program for simulating the
taking a random sample of Reese's Pieces in the preliminaries section of
Topic 12. By the time the class has gone through the process of taking
random samples by hand, the simulation is complete."

Good point, just about to do that section on Monday....your suggestion will
save a lot of time. Thanks,

Al
