If we all could agree on using "How to Lie with Statistics" by Darrell Huff
(42nd printing, W.W. Norton & Co, $11) we could save money, teach the course
in two weeks, and keep smiling.

More seriously, I am sure most of you know about this wonderful small
paperback, but on the chance you do not I hope you will look at it. It is
great supplemental reading. I will use it to give students fodder/examples
for a large number of real-world journal entries which they will have to dig
up from every day sources during the year. For those who might ask, there
will many other types of journal entries.
